Opus Collection is a new residential led mixed use development in Chiswick, built on 0.5ha of vacant offices and car park area. It consists of 137 apartments, town houses and retail split over 4 blocks.

Glint Consultants are appointed as Energy and Sustainability services consultants.

58 Victoria Embankment, London 

Victoria Embankment is an office redevelopment project located on Victoria Embankment in London. The building is surrounded by existing buildings on three sides and has only one facade to the south, which makes the atrium play a key role in bringing light and views to the space.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) study was carried out using ANSYS to analyse the temperatures experienced at various heights in the atrium. The study analysed various options including supply of return air from office floors to the atrium.

Marriott Ikeja, Nigeria 

This 5-star hotel Marriott hotel located in the heart of Ikeja, Nigeria has 251 bedroom and a 800 persons ballroom with meeting and conference facilities.

Glint are appointed to carry out detail Dynamic Thermal Modelling.

Minerva House, Reading 

Minerva house is a landmark building in the heart of Reading. It is a 55,000 sqft office refurbishment project with cooling provided from low energy chilled ceilings and energy efficiency lights throughout the building.

Glint Consultants were appointed to provide Energy and Sustainability services.

Lifehouse Spa Hotel, Essex 

Life house Spa Hotel has 89 guest rooms, 35 treatment rooms, gym, swimming pool, thermal spa, relaxation areas, make up bays and spa boutique. It is located in listed Thorpe Hall gardens, Essex and boosts its energy credentials by LED lighting and Solar PV panels.

Glint Consultants were appointed to provide Energy and Sustainability services.

KAPSARC, Saudi Arabia 

King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC), a research and policy centre committed to energy and environmental exploration based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project consists of a Recreation Centre building, Retail building, Library building, Central Kitchen building, Supermarket and Bowling Alley.

Glint Consultants were appointed to carry out Energy modelling (AHSRAE 90.1) for one of first LEED platinum developments in Middle East.


Golf Club House, Qatar 

Golf Club House is a part of a bigger development in the heart of Qatar which includes luxury villas, golf course and ancillary buildings. The project aims to create a leading edge urban design living concept and is based on the principles of Innovation, Heritage Enrichment, Sustainability and Environment.

Glint Consultants were appointed to carry out Energy modelling (AHSRAE 90.1) for the main Golf Club House, Centre of Excellence, Golf Academy and other ancillary buildings. The project includes use of high fabric efficiency and also incorporates array of solar thermal panels as a renewable energy source


Riverine Centre, London

This 6 hectare post-industrial wasteland in East London posed many challenges. The site is expected to be highly contaminated, having been occupied for over 100 years by chemical works factory, and is disconnected from its surroundings as a result of the surrounding infrastructure. Channel Sea River to the East, the tube line to the South and a raised sewer to the north east effectively isolate the triangular site. The master plan for a mixed-use scheme included the provision of 291 apartments, an enterprise centre, Islamic library, Crèche and a mosque for a congregation of approx. 9500.

Glint Consultants were appointed to provide Building Services (MEP) Design and Sustainability services. A detailed feasibility study was carried to efficiently ventilate the large prayer hall, as the openable area of glazing was restricted due to acoustic issues. A hybrid system top down ventilation was used, this included use of wind catcher’s from Monodraught and AHU’s in the basement of the building. Detail energy/comfort modelling was also carried to maximise the use of Natural ventilation, thereby reducing the risk of overheating. Energy strategy in compliance with London Plan 2011 was also submitted, wherein BREEAM Excellent was targeted.


45 Imperial Way, London

Glint consultants are appointed to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability services for the 40 bed hotel to the front and two banquet halls to the rear, situated in Croydon.

The project is aiming to achieving BREEAM Excellent, thereby adhering to some of the highest energy efficiency standards. Advanced thermal modelling is carried out to optimize the plant capacities and also minimize operational energy demand.
