Glint Consultants is a specialist energy and decarbonisation consultancy supporting commercial estate owners, developers and public-sector organisations to deliver credible, technically robust pathways to Net Zero. We combine in-house building services engineering expertise with deep experience in heat networks, energy masterplanning and public-sector delivery.

Our Approach to Decarbonisation

We follow a whole-building and whole-system methodology aligned with DESNZ Heat Decarbonisation Planning guidance, the Energy Hierarchy and long-term climate targets. Our approach integrates energy efficiency, fabric improvements and detailed heat-modelling to recommend optimal low-carbon heat pathways, from standalone heat pumps to district energy networks.

Atif Sauban

Director

Atif has more than 17 years experience in Building Services (MEP) at International level and in the UK. 

Atif's experience covers commercial, residential, rail, educational, retail, hotel and health sectors. His great variety of projects ranges from large scale residential, commercial offices, hotels, rehabilitation centres, schools and military accommodation.

Atif has previously worked for a number of Consultants and large contractors including WS Atkins, Chapman Bathurst and Al-Kifah Group.

Some of Atif's projects in previous employments include; Riverine Centre, London, Inter Continental Hotels Group Head Quarters, Newham Council's Head Office and a number of London Underground Stations such as Baker Street, Embankment and Newbury Park etc.Comprehensive Rehabilitation Centres, Saudi Arabia and Al-Tamimi Hotels, Saudi Arabia.

He has also worked in the UK on a number of mixed use and residential schemes such as Seward Street, Central Street Developments, Project Blue, Newham Council's Head Office and a number of London Underground Stations such as Baker Street, Embankment and Newbury Park etc.

Minhajuddin Mohammed

MSc CEng MCIBSE LCEA

Director

Minhaj specialises in Design of District Heating and Cooling systems, Low Carbon Infrastructure and Decentralised Energy provision.

He has extensive experience of dynamic thermal modelling software packages for consultancy including thermal comfort analysis, loads calculations, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), daylight modelling, ASHRAE 90.1 modelling for LEED/Estidama.

He is a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant and Low Carbon Energy Assessor accredited for producing EPC’s for complex buildings Level 4 & 5.

Minhaj has been steering committee member of CIBSE Building Simulation Group and CIBSE District Heating/CHP group. An active contributor to UK Energy and Building Regulations at various special interest groups such as ZCH, CIBSE and CHPA etc.
